The recipient of this award should be a non-profit group or organization that has been of benefit to your community. The winners of the award will be announced at our State Convention in April.<\/p>\n<p>The qualifications for the award are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Member lodges of the Oklahoma Elks Association shall submit projects to be considered for the award to the Charitable Trust no later than the end of February<\/li>\n<li>To be eligible for the award, the submittal must contain:\n<ul>\n<li>Name of sponsoring Elks Lodge<\/li>\n<li>Name and business address of the project<\/li>\n<li>Principal officer of the project&#8217;s name, address and phone number<\/li>\n<li>Statement of the activity of the project<\/li>\n<li>Impact of the project in the community<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Other documents may be\u00a0submitted, including:\n<ul>\n<li>Newspaper articles concerning the project<\/li>\n<li>Letters of support reflecting community merit<\/li>\n<li>Testimonials from people served by the project<\/li>\n<li>Statement of need or proposed budget<\/li>\n<li>Other supporting documents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>All applications must be submitted to the local Lodge nearest the applicant&#8217;s main business location<\/li>\n<li>Local Lodges should submit all applications before March to:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Chairman &#8211; Charitable Trust<br \/>Jack M.
