Lodge Bulletin Contest Criteria

All Lodges are encouraged to enter the OEA Lodge Bulletin Contest sponsored by the Oklahoma State Elks Association Lodge Activities Committee. Judging will be based on design, timeliness, quality of articles and overall message portrayed.

The bulletin should:

• Be easily readable, well organized, and informative.
• Report on the activities of the Lodge, using pictures as well as commentary.
• Include articles written for and directed to all members, not just lodge officers.
• Stimulate Members to actively participate in the Lodge activities.

To enter the Lodge Bulletin Contest:

Choose and submit three (3) consecutive issues of your Lodge Bulletin published between April 1 and December 31, 2023. Bind them together in a folder (only the bulletins are judged, not the folder) and have your Lodge Secretary certify in writing the number of members in your Lodge as of March 31, 2023 the Certification Letter must be included in your folder so that your entry will be judged in the appropriate division.
